Martin Bellamy BEng, CPhys, CEng, CSci, MIET, MIoP

Martin Bellamy is a solar PV and developing world energy specialist.
Martin has over 30 years of practical engineering experience, with the last 22 working directly within the off-grid renewable energy sector.
He has worked internationally for over a decade in both technical and commercial roles.
Technical experience includes the design and implementation of complex PV products and systems for urban environments, extreme climates and highly specialised applications.
Commercially, Martin specialises in developing world energy services provision, including global energy access strategy. His business support experience includes IPO, start-up and expansion strategies.
Martin holds an honours degree in engineering physics and is chartered as a physicist, engineer and scientist. He has originated 11 patent applications relating to PV technology.

Mark Spratt BSc, MSc, PhD

Mark Spratt is a PV technology and sustainability specialist.
Mark has 20 year’s experience in solar energy encompassing roles in both academia and SMEs. Most recently he served as Technology Officer developing commercial dye sensitised solar cells,
including establishment of testing facilities, product and new business development.
Mark has considerable knowledge of traditional power generation technologies, having served as Business Manager at Cardiff University School of Engineering where he helped create the multidisciplinary Welsh Energy Research Centre.
Mark has a BSc in Physics with Astrophysics, an MSc in Energy and a PhD in building integrated photovoltaics.

Zaki Iqbal BE, MSc, MRes, AMEI, PVA(NABCEP)
Zaki Iqbal is a solar technology and energy efficiency in buildings specialist.
Zaki has over 15 years of experience in the field of renewable and sustainable energy development.
He has been involved in many energy research projects including the development of the hybrid mini-grid to power Energy Research Lab in the United Arab Emirates. Under his supervision, a 96 MWhr hybrid system was successfully implemented. He has also provided consultancy and training for designing and maintaining solar PV parks in MW scales.
Zaki holds an MRes in Built Environment: Energy Demand Studies and an honours master’s degree in Embedded Systems and Controls. He has been a NABCEP Solar PV Associate since 2017.
